Angie Shoemaker
Hi! I'm Angela Shoemaker and I began my career in education in 2007 as a teacher’s aide at Winfield School and joined Burchfield in 2008 as a classroom teacher. I taught second grade for two years before moving to third grade, where I spent 13 wonderful years helping students grow and discover their love of learning. I have since returned to teaching second grade, and I truly enjoy guiding young learners as they build strong foundations for future success.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I am also certified in English as a Second Language (ESL).
Outside of the classroom, I love spending time at the lake, swimming, traveling, and enjoying quiet moments to relax and recharge.
