Hello My Name Is...
Mary Lyn Carson
I began my teaching career in 2004 and Burchfield became my home away from home in 2005. I have taught several grades but the majority of my career was spent in first grade, where I taught 13 years; I am currently the computer lab teacher for grades PreK-4th. I received my bachelor’s degree from The University of the Cumberland’s and a master’s degree in reading/math specialization from Walden University. I am married to Curtis Carson; we have 2 daughters and 5 granddaughters that are the joy of our lives. I love spending time with my family (especially the grandbabies), crafting, four-wheeling, singing in church and just sitting on my back porch enjoying God’s creation.
